Biography | The municipal school of music has the mission of achieving in the students, their training as artists through the universal language, developing musical cultural activities as well as defending the musical cultural heritage of PotosÃ, training, promoting, providing and disseminating at the local, national and national levels. International of music performers in the performance of musical instruments. The municipal philharmonic orchestra of Potosà is the first philharmonic orchestra in this city. The orchestral cast is made up of outstanding students from the municipal philharmonic academy, aimed at children and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 17. It is a project of great cultural, social and educational impact, until 2016, the municipality and department of Potosà did not have a training center of these characteristics, and today it is considered one of the leading cultural projects in the municipality of PotosÃ. The Philharmonic Academy of Potosà had more than 70 regular students in different instruments, which are divided into the string instrument workshop and the wind instrument workshop. The Municipal Philharmonic Academy of PotosÃ, receives students under the direction of Lucio Flores and Marvin Tirado Aguilar. This community made up of young musicians, participated together with the workshops carried out by Sonandes researchers(Guely Morató and VÃctor Mazón) in the sounding of a silent short film that recounts the activity and the sound imagery within Cerro Rico and the extraction of silver. The collaboration of the training workshops culminated in the creation of the foley and the musicalization of the short film. |
