On two evenings, just in time for an aperitif, the festival centre will be transformed into a bar. The menu includes a selection from the vast universe of contemporary piano music, a conversation with the pianists and, of course, the perfect drink. In «Black/blackness – After Mantra(s)», Jessie Cox raises the question of who gets to decide what is «good». In his new piece, the pianist becomes a fading star in a planetary system of sounds that increasingly take on a life of their own, giving the system a new sense of motion.
